1/43 Franklin Mint 1950 Chrysler Town & Country hardtop

Here is a really decent 1/43 scale model of a 1950 Chrysler  Town & Country 2 door hardtop by Franklin Mint.
When you think of a "woody" you probably have a station wagon in mind.  Well, Chrysler built passenger cars with the ornate wood trim.  This Chrysler may have been the only 2 door hardtop made with the wood trim.  In the realm of 1/43 scale model cars, early 1950's Chrysler products are  poorly represented in affordable models.
This Franklin Mint Chrysler is a representation of a rare automobile.  It is in excellent original condition, and features opening doors, with a fairly well detailed interior, and an opening hood with the flathead engine in the engine compartment.  You get a lot here for  .00!
This is a great vehicle for your scale model railroad, or period diorama.  Although I am not a big fan of opening doors and hoods on 1/43 vehicles---You DO need the opening hood at your model gas station or garage, or open doors at the train station once in awhile---
