1939 Vintage Pinocchio The Acrobat Walt Disney Marx Wind-Up Toy
This fantastic toy features a brightly lithographed rocking tin base, and a large tin Pinoccio on a long flexible band of metal. The band fits into a slot on the base. The base features "Monstro the Whale" with a fixed wind key on the back, and when wound up tight the base will rock back in forth causing the Pinocchio to sway side-to-side and spin/flip. Winds up and works great; however, the rocker on the bottom tends to get stuck every once in a while and it takes some jiggling to get him going again. Measures 17" tall, 11.5" long and 2.2 5" wide. Toy is in great overall vintage condition with some wear and fading on tin. Please look over pictures carefully before purchase.
