    Antique Vintage Civil War Union Artillery Blue Red Wool Shell Uniform Jacket
    This jacket is made of wool with red braided piping. It is missing 6 of the 12 buttons at the front closure. It is also missing one at the cuff.
    The stitching has seen better days. It has completely let loose at the shoulder as to be expected for something of this age.  See pictures.
    The burlap interior lining has been removed at one time or other. The sleeves still retain the linen lining. There is also a #2 stamped inside the right sleeve. The other US stamp is hard to decipher.
    The backside retains the padded loops
