The coin is round in shape with a raised rim on the obverse and the reverse. The coin’s edge is grained.
Obverse
: at the top – the relief image of the State Coat of Arms of the Republic of Belarus, a circumferential inscription: РЭСПУБЛІКА БЕЛАРУСЬ (THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS), in the center –  a stylized image of a spinning wheel and images of bees and honeycombs; at the bottom – denomination: 20 РУБЛЁЎ (20 RUBLES), on the left side – the year of issue and alloy standard.
Reverse:
in the center – the stylized image of the bee as the symbol of the Belarusian legends. On the right there is a circumferential inscription: ЛЕГЕНДА ПРА
