Civil War era hat
This is an 1800’s hat I dug at the new site I’m at. The site is loaded with artifacts. I’ve dug Confederate, Union as well as civilian artifacts. All items are sold as is, no returns, no refunds. These are antiques and have their share of aging issues along with the fact I dug them from the ground. You can see my videos on YouTube under my name, George Beauvais. That being said, it is very durable for it’s age. It actually feels like a woolen or felt material but I’m not exactly sure. I know it is very light weight when dry and heavy when wet. It can be re-shaped somewhat to your liking when wet and allowed to dry. I did just a brief initial cleaning to it by simply rinsing it and letting it dry out, but I have no doubt it could be cleaned and preserved better. Thank you for looking and good luck bidding.
