    Description

    Used, Hardened cast iron Angle Plate. Size: 6"x5"x5/8". Material high tensile cast iron. Professionally case hardened and stress relieved. Precision ground square on working surfaces. When I retired, I stored this Angle Plate in grease to prevent rust. Left grease stains discoloration as shown in pictures. Stains are cosmetic and does not effect squareness and flatness. I found this tool ideal for finish grinding larger Die components. Case hardening insures that this tool will provide you with many years of service. Flaws: 1) I milled, prior to heat treat, the gusset down in two (2) places so that I could use Kant-Twist clamps to hold part before grinding. This modification are shown in pictures. 2) Before I sent this Angle Plate out for heat treating, I stamped my name on tool as shown in pictures. 1-2-3 blocks are props to clearly show working surfaces of tool. 1-2-3 blocks are used in pictures for demonstration purposes only and are not part of this listing.
