Let's be realistic. This isn't going to reduce the time it takes to do your leaves by %. But it really does help a lot, at least in my opinion. With each scoop I'm able to pick up quite a few more leaves than I can using just my ordinary hands alone. All you have to do is grab them by the handles and go to town; they're not uncomfortable at all. The teeth on the outer edges also makes them particularly effective. Sure, they're plastic, but don't let that bother you. I could have used these things years ago! Well, live and learn. I'm very happy with my purchase.
