This sweet little satchel or basket style purse was recently acquired from a seasoned collection of antique dolls and miniatures, and will be coveted by your most PAMPERED POUPEE as a French Fashion doll accessory item to accompany her on her next TRAVEL SOJOURN!
The purse measures a DIMINUTIVE 1 3/4" tall to the top (2 3/4" tall including its handle), 2 1/2" wide at the top and 2 1/8" wide at the bottom, and is 1 1/2" deep.  It has EXCEPTIONAL DETAIL, made of wonderful woven tri-color French NATURAL WICKER or straw, with an intricately woven handle on the top!   The purse has a separate lid uniquely secured by thin straw loops on each side of the lid that wrap over the handle, rendering function and form to this novelty miniature!  The interior of the purse is unlined, however the inside compartment can aptly store milady's TOILETTE NECESSAIRES or other TINY TREASURES!   There is some age related wear to the straw, including some missing trim on the top and a small piece missing on the side, but you will find this miniature still makes a CHARMING PRESENTATION for your Fashion girls!
For scale purposes we have shown it with our 13" antique French Fashion doll who is not included in this offering but DELIGHTS in doing the modeling honors; it can aptly accessorize your Poupee while on a street stroll or a picnic-----perfect for your early CHINAS and WOODEN DOLLS too!
