Set of 2 Vintage Nani Cats 947 Mid Century Friction Toy
This set is from early in
Lehmann manufacturing history I believe.
Other 947 cats have the plastic neck tie and bottom stamp and then the
earlier
ones have the stamp on the side with the company logo
The 2 cats you are buying have the earlier side stamp but does not have the company logo so I think it was a very early run
They are in fair to good
overall
condition but will need a cleaning - I have not attempted to clean them at all
The white and yellow cat friction wheels turn freely with no friction at all, will not move on its own and sounds like there is a loose piece inside of cat
The Black and White cat friction wheels do not turn at all.  I do not want to force the gears.
Both cats have the early stamp of NANI 947 on the back side and does not have the company logo
