Vintage 50 Year Old Wooden Longbow with Partial Wrap | BB 64" 28 25"

Up for Purchase is the following Vintage Wood Longbow with partial wrap, which dates back to at least 1970, according to the original owner. It's stamped with the following: BB 64" 28 25", and I couldn't find another marking, unless there's one hidden underneath the wrap material. I described it as having a partial wrap because there was a little bit of residue, implying there was a little more of this beautiful bow originally covered with wrap material, at least at one point.
This bow was in storage in an attic for decades, and while it did have a string, that string essentially disintegrated over time. The bow itself, in its current state, weighs approximately 1 lb 0.6 oz. I can also confirm that it does measure nearly 64" exactly from tip to tip. The widest part of the bow near the hand hold is approximately 1-1/4", and that tapers down to the ends before the tips to 5/8", approximately. One tip has a hole, for reference, and the other doesn't. You'll notice that there is a little wear on the tip ends, although that's probably to be expected from use. The bow itself is in excellent condition, and I could only find a couple little dings once you move past the ends back toward the center. Finally, the finish has a little crazing, which is probably typical, but you have to get fairly close to it to notice.
If you have any additional questions, just ask! I can't say whether you can restring and reuse this bow in safely, and I make no claim that its possible. However, I'm fairly certain that if you're interested in this bow, its probably because it would make an amazing wall display.
