  • Condition: Pre-owned. Not used. Kept in storage. BUT red paint inside container dump part ran into bag of coal. Coal bag has red om it and container has lots of missing paint and tarnish. See pics. Box all torn apart and no inner packing was found. Needs tarnish removed and new paint. One paper, blue instruction page included--which is in poor condition.

    Description

    My friend is downsizing.  He is cleaning out his storage and found this train, that he had forgotten about.  He received it when he was a child in the 1940's or 1950's.  He was not a train enthusiast and put them away, boxed up, without using it.  This is Lionel # 3559, a red  and black coal dumping car. Read condition above for tarnished container.  Needs cleaning up and repainting. Lionel Electric Trains "O" Gauge.   7" long, 3-3/4"" wide and 3" high.  Has some dust on it as well.    I did not do much to clean it as I am sure there is a special cleaner for that purpose.  Includes original bag of coal:  The Lionel Corporation, NY  Made in USA.  Car has an "L" molded into the front. Bottom:  3559.   It was in a dry, non-smoking environment.  I do combine shipping and can quote standard shipping if you live west of the Mississippi.  Send zip. INCLUDED is a double sided, pale blue "Instructions for Operating Lionel Remote Control Dump Car No. 3559".  Poor condition. Torn.
