Here is a vintage polar bear figurine made of pottery or ceramic. This is a fairly large pottery bear measuring about 9 1/4" long by 3" wide and stands about 5" tall. This is definitely an older piece probably from the 1950s or 1960s. There is fine crazing throughout the glaze otherwise very good condition. There is possibly a mark between the hind legs that looks like the initials 'LY' but it may just be marks in the glaze. I'm not positive but this looks like pottery made in the USA similar to Morton or American Bisque.
